Those companies meeting the high standard are included on a database, which is accessible to registered users via a website, www.safecontractor.com
Employer-organisations who sign up to the scheme can access the database, which enables them to vet potential contractors before they even set foot on site. These employers agree that, as users of the scheme, they will engage only those who have received accreditation.
Many nation-wide businesses, from several key sectors, have signed up to use the scheme when selecting contractors for services such as building, cleaning, maintenance, refurbishment or electrical and mechanical work.
Triple Shield Property Maintenance Ltd has met the high standards required to achieve accreditation to the SAFEcontractor scheme and indeed have been members of the scheme for the past decade. Similar to the SAFEcontractor scheme the Safety Management and Monitoring Services team provide annual audits on contractors’ health, safety and environmental procedures and systems. Only when contractors have demonstrated the required level of competence within every area of work undertaken, will accreditation be granted. Also offering guidance to accredited contractors on a consultancy basis the contractor is kept up to date with any changes to current legislation. Triple Shield Property Maintenance Ltd have demonstrated that they are able to meet the level of safety standards required to be awarded the Contractorplus standard.
